Announcement of signing a Memorandum of Understanding for the Agrigas factory
EQTEC announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the German company EPC, ewerGy GmbH , which covers the basic terms of the proposed cooperation for the design and installation of the first advanced gasification plant in Greece .
EwerGy will operate in Greece through its partner, Eco Hellas SA, as well as the project development company, Agrigas Energy SA. (“Agrigas”), which will own and operate the 0.5MWe gasification plant in Larissa , in central Greece.
The commissioning of the initial unit is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2021.
According to the memorandum, the parties also committed to the development of a second 1MWe plant , in another location in Greece, which will also belong to Agrigas, a project that is currently in the design approval process.
